Everyone makes film lists: Just think about how many times you’ve heard that most basic of all film-list questions, “What are your favorite movies?”  Here are some good ones:

• The American Film Institute compiles the most respected lists of classic films, beginning with “100 Years … 100 Movies” (Citizen Kane remains No. 1, followed by The Godfather and Casablanca at 2 and 3), and now including ten other categories, including movie quotes (“Frankly, my dear …”), songs (“Over the Rainbow”), and stars (Bogie’s the top guy and Hepburn’s the best of the gals).
